Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 01/01/2025

1. Overview

At SHEL INFOSEC, we invest deeply in providing industry-leading cybersecurity solutions through the SILENT EDGE subscription service. This policy is designed to ensure fairness, operational transparency, and respect for both our customers and our business commitments. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Full Refund: If you cancel before deployment of any security agent, a full refund will be issued for your initial payment.

  • No Refund: Once a security agent is deployed, services, account preparations, proprietary configurations, and administrative provisioning are initiated. As such, payments made after deployment are non-refundable except under extenuating circumstances explicitly reviewed and approved by SHEL INFOSEC.

3. Commitment to Service & Cancellation Terms

  • Subscriptions are a commitment to ongoing service. This service is not intended for those who are uncertain or do not intend to honor their regular payment obligations.

  • If you request cancellation after agent deployment:

    • mandatory 30-day cancellation period will begin from the date of your written request.

    • Final month’s subscription fee will be billed regardless of usage, covering administrative costs, decommissioning processes, and secure removal of deployed agents.

    • Services will be phased out during the cancellation window, culminating in complete offboarding and data decommissioning.

4. Payment Provider Commitments & Chargeback Protections

  • The first paid subscription after agent deployment is considered a setup/cancellation fee and is strictly non-refundable.

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing to accounts@shelinfosec.com at least 30 days in advance.

  • Unjustified, rapid, or fraudulent cancellation requests, or attempts to abuse the refund process, may result in service denial, account suspension, or legal action.

  • Any chargeback attempt without first seeking a resolution with SHEL INFOSEC may result in immediate account suspension, loss of service, and potential legal recovery of fees and costs incurred—including those passed on to us by our payment provider and their partners.

5. Special Circumstances & Discretionary Review

  • Genuine extenuating cases (such as proven accidental double billing, documented system errors, or serious personal/emergency events) may be reviewed at SHEL INFOSEC’s sole discretion for partial refund or credit.

  • The decision of SHEL INFOSEC in such cases is final.

6. Compliance & Data Protection in Cancellation

  • All offboarding includes the secure removal of services, data, and agents, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

  • We do not share or process refunds/cancellation data with third parties except where required by payment providers or law.

7. Customer Obligations

  • It is your responsibility, as a customer, to maintain valid and sufficient payment credentials, to provide clear written communication for all cancellation/refund requests, and to cooperate in any required offboarding processes.

  • Repeated failure to honor subscription payments, persistent unjustified cancellations, or abuse of the chargeback/dispute process may lead to permanent account suspension and/or legal action.
